Yes, you can bring your dog along with you when staying at De Glamping’s luxury camping! If you are interested, please contact the staff before making a reservation so we can make the proper arrangements.
How do I get to De Glamping by public transport?
Travel to Almere Centraal train station and take bus 160 to Zeewolde. Then, exit at the stop ‘De Eemhof’ (this journey takes about 20 mins). Shuttles from the bus station to De Glamping are available on request; kindly call reception to arrange a pickup time.
Where can I hire transport to use on holiday?
If you would like to hire a car, you can do so at the airport. If you want bicycles, you can hire them at Centre Parcs (a 15-minute walk from the glamping ground).
Where do I park my car, and how do I get my luggage to the lodges?
There is a designated parking area at the luxury camping site, free of charge for guests. When you arrive, you will see the “P” signs with an arrow guiding you in the right direction. After parking, you can get a free handcart to get your luggage to the lodges. For the safety of our guests, please do not drive your car onto the playing field.
Can I charge my electric car?
Yes, we have electric vehicle charging facilities available to guests.
Where is the nearest supermarket?
The closest small supermarket is at De Eemhof, which is only a 15-minute walk from the campsite. This small supermarket is great for purchasing essentials and fresh bread in the mornings! A larger supermarket can be found in the town of Nijkerk, 15-minutes away by car. This comprehensive supermarket is excellent for buying larger groceries.
Do I get free access to the holiday park ‘Eemhof'?
Yes! As a De Glamping guest, you are given free access to the holiday park and enter through our designated gate.
How do I get the discount on Aqua-Mundo Waterpark?
As a De Glamping guest, you get a 20% discount to enter Aqua Mundo Waterpark! Show your De Glamping key at the Eemhof reception, and you will get discounted tickets there. No need to pre-register unless it is peak hi-season.
Where is the nearest beach?
The closest beach is the naturist beach, about a 15-20 minute walk from De Glamping campsite. However, if you are not a naturist, we recommend going to:
- Bloemendaal Beach, which is about an hour's drive towards the North Sea.
- If you bring your dog on holiday with you, we recommend going to Parnassia beach, as it's pet friendly.
- If you haven't got a vehicle with you, you can walk around 25 minutes to Textile beach.
What is the best way to go to Amsterdam?
We recommend parking your car at the Weesp train station and getting a train to the very center of Amsterdam. This journey takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can drive up to the center and park your car there. However, parking in the center of Amsterdam can be rather costly, and it may be time-consuming to get there.
Why do I sometimes see people walking/cycling naked outside De Glamping in the forest?
Next door to De Glamping is Flevo Natuur, the largest naturist resort in the Netherlands, and the nearest beach to our campground is a naturist beach. If naturism is a new and exciting concept you would like to try, speak to reception, and we will be able to assist you.
Are you part of or owned by Eemhof?
No, we are not. De Glamping is a privately owned establishment.
How do I book wellness treatments?
If you want to relax with additional wellness treatments like yoga classes, massages, and more - contact reception, and we will be happy to arrange treatments for you!
How is the communal jacuzzi hot tub maintained?
The jacuzzi hot tub seats up to 15 people. Our staff check the water quality values daily and refresh the water as required. There is also a regular cleaning schedule.
